After years of appointments with various doctors and receiving pain therapy, I finally went to Dr. Capuano. He immediately put me at ease.
I had anterior circumferential arthrodesis surgery at level C4-C5, using a double approach and microsurgical technique.
I was operated on at the Villa Berica Clinic in Vicenza, where the staff was kind and professional.
I want to thank Dr. Capuano for the love and dedication he puts into his work; he shows it through his care for patients and their family members. I can assure you that this approach is not common among doctors.
I also want to thank the staff of the medical office in via Carloni in Como for their kindness and help in giving me all the necessary information.

Good evening. My name is Santino. I entered Doctor Capuano’s office experiencing great difficulty in walking and continuous pain that kept me from sleeping well. An MRI exam documented the presence of a L4-L5-S1 spondylosis complicated by left foraminal stenosis. My operation included microsurgical technique for osteo-ligamentous decompression and stabilization of vertebras L4-L5-S1, and L4-L5 arthrodesis with the interposition of a compatible titanium interbody fusion cage.
The post-operative course was normal with no significant problems.
It’s noteworthy that several neurosurgeons in the province of Como, but also in Milan (I am talking about well-known surgeons in ‘top’ hospitals) advised me against having any type of surgery and actually frightened me about having surgery.
So, I want to thank Dr. CRISTIAN CAPUANO for always making me feel like a person and not a number, always having a kind word, smile, or gesture of attention towards me. Just six days after the surgery, I am walking quite well. with some difficulty, but, with each passing day it gets better and better. I think that Dr. Capuano is truly one-of-a-kind!! Infinite heartfelt thanks.

The first time I saw Christian (by now I consider him as my guardian angel) in the office I asked him if I could hug him… Since December 2020 my back pain had worsened and I started having serious problems in my right leg. I went to a physiotherapist, but nothing was resolved even though I spent quite a bit of money. On the advice of a friend, I turned to Dr. Capuano. I had an MRI and was told the harsh truth… To fix the problem I would have to have an operation on discs L5-S1, as they were poorly positioned and worn out by a bulky hernia that was crushing the sciatic nerve. Obviously, I did not agree, so, the doctor suggested I have oxygen-ozone therapy sessions as a partial remedy. I continued to work while having the treatments and by May I felt like another person. I said to myself… ‘Fortunately, I didn’t have the operation’. But, I was wrong… In October, I ended up completely blocked in both my legs and my back and could only move around in a wheelchair or on my knees.
I had the operation on 17 November at the Bra clinic and now I am in perfect shape. I will never be able to thank Christian enough. What a fantastic person! Thanks also to your very kind staff.

Hello, I am 50 years old and I went to Dr. Capuano after he had resolved a problem for my father with oxygen-ozone therapy. I hoped that I too would be able to solve my neck problem – which at that point made it difficult for me to sleep and live a normal daily life.
After a few sessions of oxygen-ozone therapy and physiotherapy, I had a cervical arthrodesis operation at the Villa Berica Clinic in Vicenza, where I encountered kind and qualified staff.
A few months have passed since the operation and I am feeling really well; I have finally resumed living a normal life, including doing many sports.
So, a huge thank you to Dr. Capuano for his kindness and great professional ability.

I was operated on 12 October at the Villa Berica Clinic in Vicenza for stenosis of the spine and a foraminal canal widening (L4-L5 DX) complicated by disc herniation.
For years the pain and complications I suffered from had compromised my quality of life.
On the advice of my general physician I met with Doctor Capuano, who put me at ease immediately; it was as if we had known each other for a lifetime. I found him to be an extremely competent, humble and helpful person, who transmits trust and serenity.
The surgery went as planned and a few hours later my pain was gone. But the surprising thing was that the next day I was already back on my feet.
I was followed both before the surgery and after by Dr. Christian and this demonstrates who he really is.

Here’s our experience… my husband was operated on by Dr. Christian Capuano, a kind and very competent physician… the operation was very risky due to a severely restricted spinal stenosis with calcification – and everything went very well! The operation took place at Villa Berica in Vicenza. In the clinic, my husband was treated very well by the kind and qualified staff! The pain that had been tormenting him for some time – and that had become unbearable is now gone!

Dr. Capuano is such an important point of reference for his patients; he makes them feel cared for, because they are treated compassionately with an individualized therapeutic program. I met with Dr. Capuano after suffering from months of pain in my shoulders and arms. I had almost lost sensitivity in my hands and nobody understood what the problem was. After having the correct diagnostic exam, a cervical MRI, which highlighted osteo-phytic spurring causing stenosis and a marked reduction of the cervical disc between C6 and C7, Dr. Capuano and I discussed my therapy options.
First, I had oxygen-ozone therapy for five months, which prepared me for surgery. Then, I was operated on and now my problem has been solved; the pain in my shoulders has disappeared and no surgical screws were needed. I am in rehabilitation now and will soon be able to return to my normal life.
