  1. Eleonora says:

I want to thank Dr. Capuano so much because when I was only 13 years old, I had gotten to the point where I could no longer sit up, walk normally, or live my days as before. I was almost always in bed and I was struggling with even the simplest things. Thanks to his help, professionalism and support, today I am back on my feet: I can sit, walk and move without that constant pain anymore. I will always be grateful to him for helping me get my daily life back on track.

Good morning, I would like to thank with all my heart the Doctor, but above all the man,Christian Capuano, for his great professionalism and competence, for giving me back the joy of life and the smile I had lost for too long. I will be forever grateful to him because he was the only one who, after a dozen years of excruciating suffering, did not give me false hope, freeing me from evil and making me regain my life. Outspoken, humane, honest, transparent and sincere person, a true rarity. Thank you infinitely from the bottom of my heart, I will be forever grateful to him.

  3. Botti Francesca says:

    I am Francesca,45 years old.
I met Dr.Capuano three years ago, after having been operated two years before, not even,by another neurosurgeon, the operation done to me had been tamponade,so I was told by the person who had operated on me,not happy with this answer, because it could not be so,my physiotherapist recommended Dr.Capuano.
The dr.told me right away and clearly that I had to have surgery,I got a little scared because I had to face another one,so I wanted to try ozone therapy which I must say gave me some relief, but then I waited,so I waited another 2 years before I decided, and then I came to the doctor again in a worse condition,I had gone from stage 3 to stage 5,I couldn’t take it anymore from the pain,I couldn’t walk,I couldn’t do anything, not even grocery shopping. Dr.Capuano confirmed my operation,so in February 2025 he operated me in Vicenza, osteo ligament decompression surgery in lumbar arthrodesis, delicate surgery.
Humanity, empathy, competence professionalism,Dr. took me by the hand, stood by me and I felt reassured of what I was and was doing.
Now I am well,I walk without pain,I have resumed my life and I will never cease to thank you Dr.for everything.
To my daughter Eleonora only 13 years old,you gave her back her normalcy ,her smile.
Thank you to all the staff,Sabrina ,Martina thank you thank you ❤️

  5. Dalena Marco says:

Good morning Doctor Capuano,It has been almost three years since we first met in your office.
From the very beginning you explained to me with great professionalism the clinical picture of my back, telling me that it needed surgery to solve the problem.
But she with great humanity grasped my fears by not forcing things and we went on with ozone therapy until one day in April I was stuck with my leg.
We decide on the date of surgery May 8,during the preoperative period he supports me with great humanity!I arrive on the day of surgery,I wait anxiously in the room,he arrives and explains me step by step with great calm, precision and professionalism how the ligamentous bone decompression and lumbar arthodosis surgery will be performed. I enter the operating room, before the anesthesia I cross his gaze, from that moment I calm down,I am ready!.once operated he passed several times in the room telling me that everything went well and that the next day he would put me on my feet! I wait anxiously for the next morning, she arrives and with all calmness and confidence stretches out her hands and tells me:come on get up walk and return to live….é so it was!!!I will never stop thanking her, fortunately there are still Doctors who in addition to professionalism put passion and humanity!!!a THANK YOU FROM THE HEART.
I also thank her team and all her secretarial staff.

  7. Cesi Colli says:

Walk. Happiness also lies in taking possession of your body again…. I am 79 years old and I have to thank Dr. Capuano who operated on me with professionalism, competence and, very importantly, humanity.

  8. Leonardo La Rocca says:

My name is Leonardo, I am 49 years old and live in Messina. It all started with severe back pain, which became increasingly disabling. My legs were heavy as lead, every step became a feat. I could no longer walk more than 100 meters without stopping, standing was torture. I had stopped living. I consulted several specialists, made visit after visit. They always told me the same thing:
“You are not a candidate for surgery, try medication.” So I went on cortisone, painkillers, neuropathic therapies…but nothing changed.
In fact, it got worse. At some point I couldn’t take it anymore. With my wife, driven by desperation, we started looking for answers on the Internet. And that’s where I virtually met Dr. Capuano. Watching his videos, listening to his words, I had the strongest feeling: “He’s talking about me.” I felt seen, understood as if finally someone really knew what I was going through. We didn’t think twice: we made an appointment and tackled the journey
    – which for me was the journey of hope.
When I met him in person, I knew immediately that I was in the right place.Dr. Capuano is a special doctor. He looks you in the eye, listens to you from the heart, and speaks to you in a language you understand. For the first time someone was able to explain to me, step by step, what was happening to my back. He made me feel centered, never a number.
The diagnosis came clear: fourth-degree L5-S1 discopathy with tight foraminal stenosis, and third-degree L4-L5 discopathy. the problem was not “in my head ” nor just inflammatory: it was mechanical, concrete, fixable. We did a few months of targeted physical therapy, and then scheduled surgery.
From there everything changed. my journey of hope turned into a journey of rebirth. After the surgery, day after day, I started getting better and better. I started to walk again, to stand, to live. And every step I take today, I owe to him. I can only say thank you. a big, deep, sincere thank you to Dr. Capuano, for his expertise, his dedication, but most of all for his humility and humanity. In a world where you often feel invisible, he makes you feel seen, welcomed, respected. My heartfelt thanks also to all the staff at Villa Berica in Vicenza, who followed me with professionalism and warmth, and to the wonderful Sabrina and Martina, the doctor’s assistant and secretary, who were always there with a smile and a kind word. I will never forget this.

I will never forget this journey. Today, thanks to you, I got back something I had lost: my life.

  9. Angela Valente says:

    Good morning
My name is Angela and I am 50 years old. I started having recurrent acute sciatica more than 5 years ago, initially treated by my primary care physician with classic voltaren and muscoril in muscle which always only temporarily buffered my symptoms. Let me preface this by saying that I am a ‘nurse and for the last 10 years I have been mainly involved in integrated home care, a job I love but still physically demanding because of long car rides, difficult positions to care for patients , handling loads, etc..
The situation gradually got worse and worse and all the medical specialists I consulted always referred me to conservative therapies … so drugs, peridural infiltrations, infiltrative ozone therapy , antalgic blocks, physiotherapy , water gymnastics … no one ever proposed surgery!
I never got any improvement and I got to the point where I could no longer walk more than 50 meters, to not being able to stand except for a little …I let you imagine my and my family’s despair …with a quality of life that was now null. But then fortunately I met Dr. Capuano Christian and when I made the 1st visit to him, I immediately felt inside me that he was the right person, I felt understood, listened, immediately at ease, he conveyed an incredible confidence and simply told me that I could solve my problems with surgery …surgery that was performed on April 1* (wide osteo-ligamentous decompression of the spinal canal, L4L5 right foraminotomy and L4S1 arthrodesis). The surgery took place at the Villa Berica nursing home in Vicenza. Dr. Capuano (whom I now call my angel) came to greet me on the ward the afternoon before the surgery and gave me an appointment for the next morning in the operating room.
When I arrived at the operating room he greeted me with a big smile and a heartfelt handshake …instilling in me confidence and great peace of mind.
The surgery went perfectly and the next day I was immediately mobilized, walked and walked up and down stairs without the need for any help or aid and without various corsets or braces..but most importantly without PAIN!!!!
Today it has been only 9 days since the surgery and I feel great…ready to start my life again…and I owe it all to Dr. Capuano and his entire team (even at the administrative level) professional, prepared, human…there are not enough words to thank everyone…available for any need at any time.
THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE
I THANK YOU FOR KNOWING DR. CHRISTIAN BECAUSE OF HIM I WAS REBORN
    ANGELA Valente from Mantua

  10. Cristina B. says:

When I think of Dr. Capuano, only one word comes to mind: monumental!
Almost a year after the first thoracolumbar arthrodesis surgery for severe scoliosis, a second right sacroiliac arthrodesis surgery had to be done due to severe pelvic dysmetria in rotation.
I cannot thank him enough and he will always have my sincere gratitude.
You arrive in the operating room scared and he greets you with arms wide open and a smile that makes you feel all the ‘humanity of this wonderful man. In a second you are calm because you know you are in the hands of an incredible Doctor with a capital M.
Again thank you with all my heart dear Dr. Capuano!
    Cristina, Como

  11. Mauri Maria Teresa says:

Accurate direct professional friendly and human…
Not enough to describe doctor Christian Capuano!
My 75 year old mom already had surgery at other hospital (specializing on spine issues)
Since then pain in feet to legs to back despite rehab and continuous gymnastics..
We decide to recheck and try this practice.
The diagnosis destabilizes us..mom needs to be operated on again….
Without any fear and with full confidence I put my mom in his hands who was treated by everyone with gentleness delicacy and respect….
Removed everything that had been done and reestablished from new 6 vertebrae!
Result??the next day standing on her legs mom says she has no more pain other than normal post op..
I will never cease to be grateful to this wonderful person who knows how to care in the same loving and respectful way for every patient who sits in front of her desk, always treating them as a family member would be treated!
Thank you thank you thank you

  12. Michele Spinozzi says:

Good morning, my name is Michele, and after a good 24 years of:
suffering, excruciating pain, therapies and diagnoses completely invented by supposed professionals in the field, good only to consider people as numbers and money machines, I had to resort to morphine, going from utter despair to just the pleasure of getting it over with! Thanks to the only and minimal strength my wife could give me, we started searching the web if there was still a human, professional and sincere Dr.! One night in bed caught up in my excruciating pains I came across a few videos of Dr. Capuano where beyond the different issues, I immediately denote his “anger” about lightening knowledge…about not trying in medicine…about wanting to be decisive…about therapeutic inadequacy and related approximations! I relived my story in those videos and with tears in my eyes I look at my wife and say, shall we go? She does not hesitate!
We make an appointment and with the ordeal of 600 km we arrive at Dr.
It only took a very few minutes to make a focused and incontrovertible diagnosis through testing and MRI imaging (suffering on sacroiliac synchondrosis)…to eliminate that patient/physician disconnect…at one point he seemed to be talking to a friend! With much candor, empathy he reassures me by saying he takes me in charge and that my problem was absolutely solvable! He proposed physiotherapy aimed at reducing the symptomatology and if this did not happen a microsurgery of sacroiliac arthrodesis was necessary! After 2 months the situation was degenerating more and more and surgery was the only way! With all his humanity, sensitivity, dedication to the work, and that desire to restore a healthy life without being a slave to drugs, pain, and waivers we decided to proceed as soon as possible! On the day of surgery I arrived at the operating room with pain from my back to my ankles via my buttocks, femurs, hips, groin, quads, knees, and calves! Jokingly before anesthesia he tells me to be calm but an unconscious part of me was telling me that it was not possible to get rid of it all! In short I wake up and he tells me that the surgery is ok and before leaving he reconfirms it by visiting me in my room (which is not a given) and indeed all gone and most importantly mobilized in the first day post surgery without any aids and without all those drugs of which I had by then had indigestion!
Almost a month later it still doesn’t seem real to me…obviously some residual post-surgery and rehabilitation to do but nothing compared to before! Always helpful and present…never makes you feel alone…takes you step by step to full recovery! SUPER RECOMMENDED…When you meet PEOPLE like that who give you your life back it is reductive to give thanks for the immense esteem and gratitude! Thank you Dr. for also giving serenity to my wife and parents! Many thanks to your staff and clinic included!

  13. Ivan says:

Good morning my name is Ivan and I wanted to write a few lines to
    Dr. Capuano.
I really believe that I met Dr. Capuano just before entering the operating room: a few minutes are enough to understand the beautiful person he is. We exchanged a few words, He told me about his mentor in Massachusetts and how important it had been for Him in his professional growth. He asked me if I was calm and I answered certainly zero problems and I saw in his face his approval for this positive state of mind of mine. He replied, well you are a brother to me (he tells everyone) so I can work and be calm in my work too.
It was the first surgery in 2025 and everything went well so what can I say…..thanks for the professionalism and commitment with here he always faces these challenges.Greetings from Teglio, Ivan.

  14. Emanuele says:

I am 50 years old and had surgery on January 28 at Villa Berica by Dr. Capuano. My problem was a large l4 l5 instability , of a magnitude hardly visible by the rm . This instability was causing me gradually increasing and lately disabling walking difficulties and constant low back pain with frequent blocks and seizures. I can only say thank you to Christian because: 1) he immediately recognized the real problem, which is neither trivial nor taken for granted. 2) he performed a perfect, clean , elegant surgery, going to place screws and stabilization bars, without touching the disc, preserving as much as possible the natural function of my back and intervening where really needed. 3) only 10 days after surgery, I already have fewer limitations than I had before surgery and I am improving rapidly every day. 4) humanly he is a special doctor: he cancels patient/doctor distances, remembers all names, makes you feel that the time he devotes to you is exclusive , truly time devoted to your health. I have only ever had positive feedback from Christian’s practice, who had operated on my father and a friend before me. All of them enthusiastic. And I add my own experience as well. Great!

  15. Gianni Bazzi says:

After two months of atrocious suffering due to poorly diagnosed and poorly treated lumbosciatica, I found myself forced into immobility. I was introduced to Dr. Christian Capuano thanks to a friend who is also a doctor. As soon as Dr. Capuano examined me, he understood the problem, which was later confirmed by an MRI.

I had an operation, performed with spinal anesthesia, a few days later – and all the pain caused by the stenosis disappeared. I was discharged the day after the operation and have started physiotherapy with Dr. Soraya Betancourt in the office. Now, a month later, I can walk for more than an hour uphill with almost perfect posture. At 85 years old!

Yesterday, I thanked Dr. Capuano because he has returned well-being and serenity to both me and my partner. I appreciate his professional competence, modesty, simplicity and compassionate approach. I hope to be able to meet him again outside the medical studio too! Many compliments also to Martina and Sabrina, Capuano’s friendly and efficient staff.
